CHF Mobile Air Operations Team

The CHF Mobile Air Operations Team is a parachute-trained Royal Navy unit staffed by Royal Navy Commandos and Royal Marines Commandos. Their role is to direct the movement of men and supplies by helicopters. MAOTs select and recce helicopter landing sites, guide in a helicopter assault force, organize casualty evacuation and troop extraction. The unit also supports maritime counter terrorism operations.
