7 Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery

Soldiers with 7 Parachute Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery (7 PARA RHA) fire a 105mm light gun in support of 3 PARA operations in Helmand Province, 2008. 7 PARA RHA are an elite parachute-trained element of 16 Air Assault Brigade (16 AA Bde). Each 7 PARA RHA Battery comprises of 6 L118 howitzers and a number of Fire Support Teams (FSTs) - specilist artillery spotters who embed with 16 AA Bde's frontline troops in order to call in fire from the L118s.
