9 Parachute Squadron - UGL

9 para squadron - UGL
A soldier with 9 Parachute Squadron, 23 Engineer Regiment (Air Assault) peers through the sight on his UGL while guarding a construction project in Afghanistan, 2011. The UGL is a SA80A2 with an attached underslung 40mm single-shot grenade launcher. The soldiers of 23 Engineer Regiment are all parachute-trained and are part of 16 Air Assault Brigade.
