Royal Marines - Operation Haven

Operation Haven was the UK's controbution to Operation Provide Comfort, a multi-national effort to provide protection and humanitarian aid to Kurdish refugees fleeing oppression by Saddam Hussein's forces during the aftermath of the Persian Gulf War. Royal Marines from 40 and 45 Commando and other 3 Commando Brigade elements were involved in the operation.
