3 PARA To Serve As UK Rapid reaction Force

The 3rd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment, 3 PARA, is to be removed from Afghanistan deployment rotation to ensure that 16 Air Assault Brigade can maintain a rapid reaction capability, the colchester gazette is reporting. 16 Air Assault Brigade, with 3 PARA at its core, will be on 5-days standby to respond to a crisis anywhere in the world.
