3 PARA - Shoot house

At the time this photo was taken, 3 PARA were the lead infantry battalion in the Air Assault Task Force (AATF). The AATF is part of 16 Air Assault Brigade and acts as the British Army's high-readiness, light, short-duration intervention unit. 3 PARA alternate in the AATF role with 2 PARA.
